**Kangwon Land invests KRW 2.5 trillion in wellness and non-casino sectors... to build a future-oriented complex cultural space**.

Kangwon Land has unveiled its plans to invest heavily in the non-casino sector with the announcement of the KRW 2.5 trillion K-HIT Project 1.0, which focuses on various non-casino facilities, including integrated resorts and wellness centers, with the goal of increasing the share of non-casino revenue to 30% by 2032.

Through this investment, Gangwon Land plans to build a new complex cultural space, including the High One Square integrated resort, a high-end hotel, a sky bridge, and a luxury forest trail. The investment in non-casino segments such as wellness centers and pool villas is particularly notable, and appears to be a strategy to expand non-casino revenue streams and strengthen competitiveness.

Currently, Kangwon Land's revenue is dominated by the casino sector, with casino revenue accounting for more than 85% of total revenue. However, the recent changes in the casino industry and the need to strengthen the non-casino segment as part of its customer attraction strategy have led to this large investment.

Gangwon Land is strengthening its integrated resorts and tourism products to increase its competitiveness for domestic and international customers, which we expect will naturally have a positive impact on the casino sector through infrastructure building in the non-casino sector.

CareDoc is leading the way in improving the quality of senior living spaces with the release of its new 'Senior Housing Design Guidelines'. The guidelines set standards for implementing “high-quality smart senior housing” and aim to standardize design and operations to improve the quality of senior life.

CareDoc's Senior Housing Design Lab developed the guidelines by analyzing high-end senior housing in the U.S., Japan, Europe, and elsewhere. The guidelines focus on objectively assessing and managing senior well-being and operational efficiency by adopting 'evidence-based design'. They also consider the synergy of three aspects - hardware (space), software (programs), and humanware (care services) - in an integrated manner, and emphasize designing spaces that support healing and recovery by applying universal design and the Snuselen method.

It provides an environment that can be lived in continuously throughout the aging cycle, and the design is organized in a way that promotes the health and vitality of seniors. Based on these guidelines, CareDoc is also developing a certification system for senior housing design consulting and quality assessment, and will establish a system that can be certified internationally through a partnership with a 'green building consulting company'.

Caredoc's new design guidelines will improve the quality of the Korean senior housing market and will be applied to its brands such as 'Caredoc Care Home' and 'Caredoc Nursing Home' in the future.
