**Wellness and Gangwon Land Reorganization, Representative Lee Chul-kyu's Political Power***.

With the expansion of Gangwon Land's in-country casino operations and the expansion of gaming seats for the first time in 12 years, the political power of Representative Lee Chul-kyu of the People's Power is in the spotlight. Lee is considered to be one of the main architects of the Yun-Seok-yeol government and a pro-Yun-Seok-yeol politician, and he has strengthened his political position by being elected as the chairman of the 22nd National Assembly's Committee on Industry, Trade, and Energy (MOTIE).

Lee campaigned on improving the business environment for Gangwon Land, and is credited with having a major impact on deregulation and easing political sanctions. In addition, the 21st National Assembly extended the bill to support the development of abandoned mining areas and changed the method of calculating the Gangwon Land abandonment fund, contributing to the revitalization of the region. In the 22nd National Assembly, a bill to establish duty-free shops for Koreans is expected to come to fruition within the year.

The deregulation is in line with President Yoon Seok-yul's presidential campaign pledge to “reorganize and revitalize Gangwon Land into a family-based, four-season complex leisure tourism district,” and the Presidential Commission on Local Era has announced plans to transform the southern Gangwon region into a global tourist destination. “The Abandonment Special Act and the stable existence of Gangwon Land are essential for the rebirth of the southern Gangwon region,” said Representative Lee Chul-kyu, vowing to make this a new milestone in the development of abandoned mining areas.

**Wellness and Ancient Exercise: A Ritual to Train the Body and Spirit Together***.

The “Ancient Exercise Ritual” class, held at the Ancient Exercise Cultural Space, “House of Power” in Mapo-gu, Seoul, is a program focused on improving wellness of the body and mind. These exercises improve the body's sense of balance and have a meditative effect, freeing you from negative emotions.

“The rhythmic process of swinging the bat is important to develop both physical and mental well-being,” explains Joohyun Kim, co-founder of the organization. After the workout, the group bonds over samovar tea, emphasizing the sense of community.

In addition to physical wellness, ancient exercises contribute to mental tranquility and emotional stability, making them ideal for those seeking holistic health through exercise and meditation.

**Transitioning to clean energy in Taebaek with wellness***.

The city of Taebaek, Gangwon-do, held the 'Jangseong Coal Seat Closing & Access 100' commemorative event at the Jangseong Mine of Korea National Coal Corporation on June 6 to mark the end of the coal industry's long history and the transition to a clean energy industry. The event was organized to recall the historical significance of the Jangseong Mine and present a clean energy vision for Taebaek's future.

The Jangseong Mine was the backbone of Korea's coal industry, operating for 88 years since its opening in 1936. The mine, which closed in June, had supported the economy of Taebaek by producing 94 million tons of coal, nearly half of the total production of the company in its 74 years of operation.

The city of Taebaek is using the closure of the mine as an opportunity to present a new industrial vision. It is building a clean metal alcohol production facility, improving the system for utilizing pumice, a byproduct of coal mining, as an industrial material, and creating the Gotersil Core Minerals Industry-Academia-Research Innovation Technology Complex and the Wellness Anti-Aging Industry Specialized Complex. These efforts are part of a plan to transform Taebaek into a center for clean energy and wellness industries.

The 'Jangseong Coal Mine Closing & Approaching 100' is an exhibition celebrating the history and achievements of mining workers at the Jangseong Coal Mine until the 20th, and is considered a meaningful event to declare a leap into the future clean energy industry. The event is expected to be an opportunity to remember the 100-year history of the coal industry and pledge a leap forward for the next 100 years.

**Wellness and Burnout: Why Gen Z is More Vulnerable and How to Overcome it

Research shows that Gen Z is more vulnerable to burnout. The pandemic and economic uncertainty have been cited as major contributors to burnout, especially among younger workers under the age of 30. Burnout goes beyond day-to-day fatigue and is associated with feelings of helplessness, lack of motivation, and increased social media use. According to Future Forum research, burnout symptoms have skyrocketed since 2021, with more than 40% of workers in six countries experiencing it.

To overcome burnout, here are some things you can do to help

1. Recognize it's more than just fatigue: It's important to recognize that you need more than just a break, and to seek professional help if needed.

2. minimize stressors: Identify your stressors and try to reduce them by taking sick days or vacations if possible. Taking a break, even a short one, can help break stress patterns.

3. Reorganize your day: It's important to review your daily routine, cut out unnecessary time, and include enough sleep and light exercise. Make sure to clearly separate work and personal time to allow for recovery time.

4. Take a burnout break: You should take an extended break to disconnect from work and recharge your body and mind with nutrition and mindfulness activities. The difference between wellness breaks and burnout breaks is that burnout breaks focus on physical recovery and don't involve extreme detoxification.

To counteract burnout, you need to make sure you're getting enough rest and ongoing self-care. It's important to take regular breaks to regain a healthy balance in the long run.
